Integrity

System is brutal

Cunningly fruitful

With money supplied the rich

Which dehumanizes society

By rich getting richer

And more getting poorer

As we descend into horror

Money now god

Thus do we trod

With money sublime

To end of line

When system humanity decline

Our god now gone

A new chance for sanity

The end of hostility

And return of integrity

       No Hope America

America remains oppressive

With being not aggressive

Hegemonic global nation

Pretending to be location

For democracy

Deeply locked in slavery

While nations clearly see

Beyond U.S. bigotry

Concealed by money

Motivating religiosity

And lust for war

Eight centuries Brit imperialism

Ruled emergency nations

Until it declined

America was next in line

To define

Meaning of swine

How did this tragedy begin

And how and when

Will it end

Perhaps we can begin again

On higher ground

So stay around

When you can

For this will be a higher plan

Beyond democracy

         Ashamed

I am ashamed of America

The incredible built war machine

At expense of peace

With billions of people hungry

Poor sick without help

America continues to spend trillions

Without end on war

Currently destroying Iraq

But more attacks to come

While its economy declines

With all that means

I feel ashamed of America

There is no place to hide

From shame

        Nothing Matters

Does not matter whose face

We are up against a rock or no place

When we run a race

That has endless space

In this feckless universe

Without blessing without curse

Matters not which comes first

         Dumb America

Americans dumbed down

There is no turning around

They have no sense of common ground

Only rich powerful say

Is their way

Which means rich powerful society

Without love and piety

Just live and die for money

Structured for ruling class

Made rich by toiling mass

Now totally dependent on plutocracy

That they believe democracy

The greatest human tragedy

Throughout history

Mass of people locked in place

Until they reach another place

Beyond this one they embrace

So we must bide our time

And wait to climb

On higher ground

So stay around

If you can

History Is the Moment

I have seen gutter

Gut people

In a semicircle

Hugging laughing talking

Camera picture taking

When suddenly ugliness

Appears in face

Symbolizing harder place

Lurking in every face

Entrapped within city space

Past now in this moment

Of unrestrained playful chatter

Eyes still matter

Since we have not transcended fear

It is always near

Even when we laugh play

History stands in place

For entire human race

       No Short Cut

There is no place to hide

We must let system slide

Through historical tide

To a place of change

Beyond present conceptual range

Transcending thought

Of land power money

Indeed beyond all history

No short cut here

As we rid ourselves of fear

The time is near

So let us prepare

For no more war

          Separation?

The question integration

Or separation

In current supremist nation

Requires both affirmation

For Blacks in America

Similar to other folk

Who work and joke

Like Jews and Christians

Irish Italians Germans Indians

Same with Puerto Ricans

They separate and integrate

In what is called melting pot

And Afro Americans have sought a spot

Within this unfolding pot

For a real Democracy

What remains at stake

Should Black folk separate

Within this Nation

Could it be a higher station

Or total degradation?

        White Face

White face empty

With blind stare

Peering nowhere

Like mechanized brain

Prearranged inflicting pain

On forms of life

Naturally seeking joy

Without strife

Avoiding European race

Nourished by mechanized face

Primed for war

This face is high tech

In fact technology

Here is no humanity

Only war insanity

Stealing from darkened skinned family

Who laugh joke and plan

Until they understand

Intruding white faced greed

Stealing land

Enslaving folk

Understanding this no joke

Non whites are alright

Until they must fight

This mechanized white

Until humanity reappears

With laughter and tears

Now gone their faces

        A Laughing Face

System stalls

Like hiding behind

Historic walls

Then it falls

No longer hearing calls

For human grace

Laws of change now in place

Transformation for this Race

After millennia of disgrace

A laughing face.

            Turning 76

Words used are desuetude

Not simply another mood

This world has changed

In my life time

Where mansions are sublime

And poets without rhyme

While we are incarcerated

By high tech waste land

Waiting to be deported

Back to Mother Africa

The people gone.

So now I am 76

Ready for another trick

Against my love

While high above

This concrete wasteland.

Negation Of Black Inequalization

Four hundred years inequality

Have all but destroyed black solidarity

And now entrenched disparity

Between rich and poor

With poor antagonistic more

By American culture

That divide and conquer

Not only Black and white

But Blacks divided in this fight

Against oppression

As this nation ignores depression

Can there be negation

Of Black inequalization

Ever intense negativity

Internalized within our body

Awaits negation of negation

The law governing liberation

Of Blacks and whites and this nation

Moving a higher station

Empty We Do Not Know

Entrapped in bondage

That makes us dumb

Our hearts and minds taken

Hence all of life forsaken

By dehumanizing process

So we can make no progress

In who and what nature made

For love

Not below but high above

Emptiness of class society

That keeps us dumb

Continuously numb

So we do not know

How pedals flow

As we come and go

Unconscious of eternal flow

Of DestinyÕs laughter.

Does it matter

We eat and get fatter

Not knowing love

Abounds above this battlefield?

Can we extend beyond money

Taste spiritual honey

And think of love?

   The Kook Kook Train

Be wary of kook kook train

Can carry you insane

Without feeling pain

As it rumbles and tumbles

On hard steel tracks

Carrying Black hacks

Swiftly moving in dead night

Darkness illuminating streaks of light

By watching kook kook train

The Black insane

In quiet pain

Still traveling on kook kook train.

         For Sanity

The System is rotten

When humanity forgotten

While corporate rich

Maintain workers in ditch

Waiting for recession

Expanding to depression

The people incapacitated

Culturally sedated

So much for democracy

Along with hypocrisy

A critical turn for humanity

Compelled to search for sanity

By control of economy.

The Question

What can you do

When your life is through

And you do not know

Who are you?

Did I fall from The Blue

Or emerged from human stew?

What about you?

   The Moment

The moment gone

Into eternity

And there nothing alone

Except quiet roaring Space

Where we see DivinityÕs face

Far blacker than white

Not withstanding distortions of hate

That dissipate

Everybody alive will be dead

Before System moves ahead

So do what we can

It does not matter what we plan

The Laws are fixed

Not made by man

Systemic contradictions resolved by law

Opening this historic door

There is no time

Except the moment

But one component

Of universal timelessness

 Beyond Language

Beyond time dated

Planet Earth originated

In the endless Universe

There attached a curse

Not so much in space

But in human race

We can symbolize

Yet cannot  realize

A Universe transcending language

ÒWhere silence means more than wordsÓ

Like flocks of flying birds

Soaring high in herds

         Equality

Now America is ugly

A living symbolic swastika

Burying pretensions of democracy

As it prepares for war

Transforming what went before

This nation turning poor

All systems come and go

This will not be slow

Perhaps a fascist overthrow

Then democracy can grow

America cast in humanistic glow

Our leaders from below

And Black workers can now shout

Equality is what we are about!

Rich and poor by money

This is no comedy

But soon finally

We shall all be free

Strange to see

How history

Can set us free

By distribution of money

With equal share for everybody

Replaced by workers democracy

Unite for monetary equality
